This firearm is on exhibit at the Frank Brownell Museum of the Southwest at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM.

This pistol is a derivative of the Mauser Broomhandle and is distinguished by the unique cone shaped gripping surfaces on the hammer. This particular pistol was manufactured about 1907 and is chambered in 7.63 Mauser. This pistol is embellished with 6 nautical panels that seem to include the sinking of the Titanic and Lusitania, Neptune - god of the seas, along with a whaling scene and a Viking ship. This firearms won the "Best Engraved Handgun" at the 2013 Firearms Engravers Guild Association Show held in Reno, NV.
