Frank Brownell Museum of the Southwest
Established in 2008 at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM, the Frank Brownell Museum of the Southwest is a jewel box museum with 200 guns exhibited in 2,750 square feet. It tells the history of the region from the earliest Native American inhabitants through early Spanish exploration, the Civil War, and the Old West. It features exceptional decorated arms by modern American engravers, along with competition firearms like those used today on the famous Whittington ranges.
