MAS FAMAS Bullpup Semi Automatic Carbine
The compact bullpup FAMAS rifle has been nicknamed the "bugle" by French troops due to its unique profile
Since its inception in the late 1970s, the FAMAS has served the French military as its primary combat rifle. The bullpup design, which relocates the operating mechanism to the rear of the rifle, allows for a much more compact layout than a traditional rifle. This civilian legal semi-automatic sporting version of the FAMAS is one of only a handful ever imported into the United States.
