This cased Tokarev pattern pistol was presented to Major General Pepke at Pleiku during the Vietnam comflict. It is a Chinese variant that bear no manufacturer's markings - only the M20 designation and the serial number. Many of these unmarked pistols were exported to Africa in conjunction with other Chinese arms shipments in the 1980s.
