Sweitzer lock, relief-carved curly maple stock, horsehead patch box, engraved silver inlays. 44.75 inch full octagon barrel signed M. Fordney. Brass chevron nose cap. Twelve silver inlays. Fancy incised carved forend panels. Four-piece engraved patchbox with incised carving between sidepanels and door. Checkered wrist with brass tack decoration. 8.75 inch engraved brass toeplate with two piercings. Engraved triggerguard, rear furrel and sideplate.
