Redfield Prototype Semi Automatic Rifle

This was a novel semi-automatic centerfire rifle design that Redfield intended to place into production, but competing models from Winchester and Remington made this proposition economically unsound. Redfield, while much better known for optics manufacture, finally decided against going ahead with this firearm project.
