Asa Waters Jr Model 1808 Flintlock Militia Musket
In September, 1808, Waters & Company of Sutton/Millbury, Connecticut, received a government contract to produce 5,000 long arms patterned after the Springfield Model 1795 musket. Approximately 4,200 were actually delivered. This militia musket was purchased by the state of Maryland.
