U.S. Simeon North Model 1816 Flintlock
This U.S.-proofed pistol was one of the 19,374 handguns manufactured under contract by North. These pistols feature brown-finished iron mountings and an inletted iron backstrap that runs from the barrel tang to the buttcap, casehardened lockplate, hickory ramrod, and a 9-inch round barrel with a brass blade front sight mounted on the front barrel band.
