Pale Rider (1985)
Pale Rider (1985)
Clint Eastwood as Preacher
Remington 1858 New Army - .44 Caliber
Known only as "Preacher", Clint Eastwood's character relied upon
this Remington New Army through much of the 1985 film Pale
Rider. The gun received a significant amount of screen time,
as its most noticeable feature of interchangeable cylinders was
demonstrated by Eastwood several times on camera. The .44 caliber
pistol was originally cap n' ball percussion but was later modified
to accept metallic cartridges for the film.
