Silverado (1985) Enfield
Silverado (1985)
John Cleese as Sheriff John T. Langston
Enfield M-1884 - .476 caliber
This revolver has a distinctive look and is easy to spot in period
films. Originally issued to the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted
Police) this gun eventually found its way to Hollywood, where it
coincidentally was used in Cecil B. DeMille's Northwest
Mounted Police (1940). It was also used by John Cleese as
Sheriff John T. Langston in Silverado.
