U.S. Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand Semi Automatic Rifle
During WW II,Springfield was joined by Winchester in the production of M1 rifles. Winchester ceased production at the end of that war, but Harrington & Richardson and International Harvester made M1's during the Korean War while Springfield concentrated on rebuilding existing rifles. All production of the M1 ended in 1957. This example was made in 1953.
